Features The PQ-9000-00 is a String Saver saddle for acoustic guitars with a width of 3.16mm. Its black material provides a seamless finish that complements the instrument's design. String Saver works by releasing micro-molecules of Teflon as the strings vibrate, minimizing friction and thus reducing tuning instability. It produces a deep and crisp tone, ultimately improving sustain. Specifications ■ Acoustic Guitar Saddle ■ String Saver ■ Blank Specification ■ Size ・Width: Approx. 3.16mm ・Length: Approx. 76.72mm ・Height: Approx. 11.42mm ~From the manufacturer's website~ String Saver dramatically improves string durability and sustain compared to metal saddles. As the strings move and vibrate against the saddle, String Saver creates a thin film of Teflon. This acts as a lubricant, preventing the strings from being excessively fixed to the saddle and distributing the concentrated load over a wider area. This is how it prevents strings from breaking. String Saver saddles produce a deep and crisp tone, similar to using vintage steel saddles, and consequently improve sustain. *1 When installing, processing according to the condition of the instrument is required. *2 While it can be easily processed with sandpaper, it is generally recommended to have it installed by a professional guitar technician.
